Who We Are: What is project RECAP?

Most especially in our fast-paced digital world, all the reminders and announcements can be a bit overwhelming. To help organize this intake of data, the Student Council introduces project RECAP which stands for Review of Circulars, Announcements, and Publications. All currently relevant information previously circulated are summarized and categorized, either text-based or on the GCalendar, for the convenience of the DLSU SHS Students.

Proceed below to find announcements, reminders, DLSU SHS GCalendar, and a form to submit any of your concerns, whether it be to the administration or the Student Council.

About project RECAP

An efficient communication process between the Student Council, the student body, and the administration is necessary in building a community in service and communion. Project RECAP aims to introduce a new avenue for information dissemination among the student body, allowing for more engagement with the students in the different student activities. By organizing and consolidating all relevant information in one platform, these are made more digestible for its target audience.

The Goal

Project RECAP could have taken many other forms; however, it is through this platform that a simple, accessible, organized, and expandable data dissemination system is made possible. The simple interface and ease-of-navigation can allow the academe to fully digest the different materials amidst the fast-paced reality of our digital world. With that, the Project RECAP team ensures that this website will remain updated and relevant over the course of its activity.

The Means

In its first launch, Project RECAP aims to fulfill its primary goals, establishing foundation with intent to carry over to the coming years. However, it must not end there. Project RECAP holds potential for expansion through collaboration, maximizing its flexibility and dynamically to produce long-term community benefits. With an open mind, the potentials of this platform are constantly being explored.
